Through clubs and organizations, students can assume various leadership roles in carrying out the group's mission. Organizations contribute a range of perspectives to the overall college community and thus enrich the academic environment and campus life for all students.

Community Involvement

On behalf of NOVA Student Life, we encourage you to reflect on how you can be more civically engaged in your community. Civic engagement helps highlight important issues affecting your community, and it can help empower you with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to create purposeful change. 

Leadership

Leadership development is an important aspect of personal growth in college, even as an online student. Being involved in leadership programs and positions helps teach important life skills such as decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, and a healthy belief in yourself and your abilities.
