Who is NOVA Online?
NOVA Online's Vision is to promote equitable access to exceptional online curricular and co-curricular experiences, empowering both students and faculty to thrive in a collaborative and transformative learning environment.
Since 1975, Northern Virginia Community College has been providing distance learning opportunities. NOVA Online caters to students needing a more flexible schedule, those living outside the local area, or individuals who prefer online education. Our online classes mirror those offered on campus but are delivered in an asynchronous format. We offer classes in over 60 academic disciplines, and more than 35 degree and certificate programs can be completed online. Each year, over 25,000 students enroll in NOVA Online classes.
